Playing the Gong

Place the stand securely on a level surface and check that the gong hangs freely. Begin with a gentle strike using a suitable gong mallet, allowing the sound to settle between strikes. Playing strength and technique affect the volume and resonance.

Care & Placement

Allow enough clearance for the gong, stand and player. Keep indoors and dry; dust gently and avoid abrasive cleaners. Move the stand and gong carefully, using assistance for larger pieces.
